The Ranger Camps are adventure experiences for boys. Together they will journey into the great outdoors, and become a band of brothers while camping on our beautiful land in Big Rock, Illinois. Your son(s) will enjoy five days of outdoor adventure and brotherhood on a sprawling campus replete with woodlands, a river, two ponds, campground, and a historic Civil War House. We are a faith-based program, and so each day we will pray from Scripture, and imaginatively enter into the scenes of the Old Testament and Gospel. Together your sons will learn how to rough it in nature, work together as a team, and experience an intensity of life where work, play, prayer, friendship, and the outdoors are all part of a more meaningful life experience.

Rangers are men of courage, faith, and creativity. They are dedicated to the Riverside Way, and seek always the greater Glory of God in all they do. Rangers are young men of the outdoors, and yet steeped in the imagination of story and the arts. They see life as an adventurous pilgrimage to heaven, and seek to live the heroic role to which they are called in this epic narrative. They come to Riverside to learn what it means to work hard, play hard, serve others, use their imagination to see the bigger picture, and solve problems, and enjoy the brotherhood of Riverside along the way.
